Job description
We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support to our employees and ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and operating systems
- Install and configure computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot issues with computer systems, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
- Monitor and maintain firewall security
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex issues
- Manage service requests in ServiceNow and Jira
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or desktop support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Linux operating systems
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira ticketing systems
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and peripherals
- Familiarity with firewall security
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
