SALARY FROM £24,496 TO £28,371
This is an opportunity for a suitably technically skilled and personable candidate to join our excellent IT team at a time of growth and development and offers a real personal development opportunity for your own personal skills, experience and career.
The successful post holder will provide our first and second line response to IT problems and help to plan and co-ordinate IT projects within our school.
The role will be responsible for:
· Providing first and second line support to users
· Undertake support and maintenance of network infrastructure
· Undertake repairs to IT equipment or oversee external support
· Manage daily tasks such as security logs, printer maintenance and backups
· Oversight of IT suites
· Undertake inductions and training to new staff and where new software is deployed
· Undertake use and activity analysis
· Deputise for Network Manager
You will ideally have two years’ experience in an IT role, have a working knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals and an understanding of security and basic networks. You will need to be approachable, friendly and comfortable in supporting staff and students with IT issues.
