Akerman LLP, a leading U.S. law firm, is seeking an IT Technician to support our offices across the country. The candidate must be flexible to work and travel on sometimes short notice, traveling up to 40% to support offices. The incumbent will perform PC, software, smartphone and tablet, and printer support, set-ups, diagnostics/troubleshooting, and repair. Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Qualified candidates will have and a minimum of two (2) years of work with PCs, desktop software such as Microsoft Office, as well as experience with AV and networks. This position works in a fast-paced, team environment, requiring strong verbal communication, listening and interpersonal skills. Excellent computer and software trouble shooting skills and customer service are required. The ability to work independently and manage time and tasks in a productive team environment are essential. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail are REQUIRED. Experience in a large law firm setting with Microsoft OS and PC hardware certifications are desired. iManage (Document Management System) and Citrix experience is a plus.
