Description
Our IT Systems Apprentice has a key role to play in our Managed Services team, ensuring that customer requests are supported, that service levels and targets are achieved and maintained, and that the team are upskilled to deliver project work in the form of enhancements and additional configuration.
This is a great opportunity for someone that is passionate about system configuration, data and supporting others, who’ll be very much a part of our growth journey as we develop our services and offerings to be an IT Systems Apprentice with Tugela People.
Our IT Systems Apprentice has a key role to play in our Managed Services team, ensuring that customer requests are supported, that service levels and targets are achieved and maintained, and that the team are upskilled to deliver project work in the form of enhancements and additional configuration.
The role:
- Develop skills to assist in building solutions to meet client needs
- Advise clients on best practice use of the Sage People Product and other Human Resource products, including Recruitment, Learning and Development, Payroll systems etc.
- Serve as tier 1 support function for Tugela client cases
- Identify and address customers with acute support needs or product configuration issues and help address the issues
- Work with the Managed Services team to ensure customer queries are addressed in a timely manner
- Support Consultants with projects at critical times (QA, UAT & Go Live)
- Previous work experience in an administrative environment
- Verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work effectively with others as a competent team member
- Computer literacy/word processing skills

2 GCSEs or equivalent including English and Maths
Desirable:
Knowledge and/or previous experience with customer service.
