Trago Mills (Liskeard) - IT Support Technician
Trago’s original store is situated alongside the River Fowey in the beautiful Glyn Valley, on the A38 between Liskeard and Bodmin. Inside are two floors equating to over 18,500 square meters filled with the South West’s largest selection of home and leisure products – over 180,000 in all.
Job Title: IT Support Technician
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical support and maintenance of hardware, software, and network systems. Experience of POS and tilling solutions would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware, software and networking systems, including POS and tilling solutions
- Provide technical support for end-users and resolve any issues related to IT infrastructure
- Maintain and update system documentation and inventory
- Work closely with other IT team members to maintain system reliability and stability
- Implement security measures and maintain data backups
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and make recommendations for improvements
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role
- Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications, including POS and tilling solutions
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Familiarity with Office 365 is a plus
