With this comes complexity and requirement for an experienced and growth orientated IT Support Specialist to help lead this journey and join our Fueller family!


Requirements

  • Consulting with managers and other departments as required.
  • Become the internal expert on all core applications and provide first and second line technical support.
  • Training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs.
  • Resolving logged errors in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support during new product/system implementations and internal change projects.
  • Assisting in deploying new system functionality.
  • Liaise with third party suppliers and partners to assist in implementations, conduct high-level troubleshooting, and/or escalate issues.
  • Administer the setup of new hardware and software for new starters (along with ad hoc hardware/software set up across the business).
  • Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.
  • Updating computer software, as well as upgrading hardware and systems.
  • Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.
  • Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.
  • Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support.
To contribute to The Fuel Store’s success, you will need:
  • Up to 3 years’ experience within IT Helpdesk (i.e. 1st line Support/2nd line support)
  • The ability to learn quickly and take in complex information.
  • A bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or similar.
  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as Zoho Desk and Jira or similar.
  • Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.
  • In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
  • Ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.
  • Experience using MS dynamics CRM, D365, PowerApps and Business Central.
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
