About the role

The IT Specialist will be responsible for executing all aspects of our company's device management strategy, including managing MacOS and Windows systems, and supporting Mobile Device Management solutions. This role requires a deep technical understanding of MacOS and Windows environments, MDM platforms, and G-Suite administration, coupled with strong problem-solving and communication skills to support end-users.


Responsibilities


MacOS & Windows Device Management:

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining device lifecycle management for MacOS and Windows devices, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.

  • Collaborate with the IT team to apply device provisioning, configuration, and update policies, maintaining uniformity and compliance across the organization.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and networking issues on MacOS and Windows platforms.


Mobile Device Management (MDM):

  • Support the administration and optimization of Mobile Device Management solutions (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune) to facilitate remote device management, application deployment, and security compliance.

  • Assist in enforcing MDM policies, including device enrollment, remote wipe, and encryption, to protect company data and mitigate security risks.


G-Suite Administration:

  • Collaborate with the IT team to manage G-Suite (now Google Workspace) services, including user provisioning, access controls, and data security configurations.

  • Provide end-user support for G-Suite applications and troubleshoot related issues.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate documentation of device management processes, procedures, and configurations.

  • Support the generation of reports on device performance, security compliance, and user support metrics for management review.


About you

  • 3-5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on MacOS and Windows device management, MDM, or G-Suite administration.

  • Familiarity with MacOS and Windows operating systems, hardware, and software configurations.

  • Exposure to Mobile Device Management platforms (e.g., Jamf, Microsoft Intune) and G-Suite administration is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices in device management.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.


Location

If you’re not based in London no problem - we are open to discussing fully-remote working arrangements in other locations that have a similar time zone.
