Calling all IT Support Jedi!
Impellam Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our internal Service Desk. This is a hybrid, permanent opportunity in Luton with excellent progression opportunities.
In this role you will be 1st point of contact for our internal colleagues and your day-to-day will revolve around
- Assuming operational responsibilities for resolving all IT related administrative queries
- Managing the end-to-end lifecycle of received IT requests
- Liaising on a day-to-day basis with internal Customers, ensuring they are always informed on the progress of their query
- Escalating procedures, as and when required, to ensure that high priority issues are managed within the desired timeframe
- Assisting in the delivery of specific Service Desk projects, this will involve data entry, data analysis and general coordination of low-level activities.
We're a no ego team, we work remotely and we're all hands-on. We like to get together 2, 3 times per month to work collaboratively and share ideas, so you will need to be able to commute easily to Luton.
You will need a good background in call centre IT support, a good attitude, willingness to learn and most of all, enjoy talking on the phone and solving problems.
You will have a technical understanding of Active Directory, as well as MS Windows and Citrix Cloud Desktop environments. A good understanding of ITIL processes would be nice too.
