IT Support Engineer

We are looking to hire a skilled IT support engineer to assist our users with computer hardware and software issues. To ensure success as an IT support engineer, you should have extensive knowledge of home and office systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. The role is based in London and will be office based.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responding to user support requests in person, via the service desk platform (JIRA) and via instant messaging (Slack)
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals
  • Installing and upgrading operating system and computer software
  • Set up office equipment and assist with office and team relocations
  • Set up new equipment and accounts for new joiners to the business

About you:

  • Great customer service experience
  • Enjoys working as part of a team
  • Enjoys problem solving and has a great eye for detail
  • Experience with the following is essential:
    • Windows 10/11
    • Azure Active Directory
    • Google Workspace
    • JIRA
    • Office 365
  • Experience with the following is desirable:
    • SQL
    • Intune
    • Autopilot
    • Mac OS
    • Slack

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to MSSQL
  • Experience with OS patching
  • Appreciation of working within IT security frameworks such as ISO27001
