Role Description
JCA | London Fashion Academy is seeking a motivated IT Support staff to join our team in London on a full-time basis. The IT Support Staff will be responsible for providing technical support to staff and learners at the academy, troubleshoot IT issues, and ensure smooth running of our operations on a day to day basis. The role requires a talent for tech support, excellent communication skills, data entry knowledge, and exceptional organization skills. You may be required to travel to our second site in Boston Manor (London) for tech support.
Note: This is supporting both hardware and software.
Responsibilities of the role:
IT Support
- Hardware - set up physical desk stations (PCs/Macs), troubleshoot basic issues, complete desk moves, printer management
- Software - Office 365, setting up new starters across all our systems, basic 1st line troubleshooting, updating all computers and equipment
- Systems Management - Adobe Creative Cloud, Monday.com, Custom SMS system
- Auditing - keeping track of all equipment such as laptops and tech equipment
- 3rd Parties - be the main point of contact with our third party IT Support Provider
- Setting up emails and IDs for staff and students
- Hosting and organising zoom meetings
- Supporting with presentations
- Supporting new students and staff with Office 365, printer especially during new term
- Occasional help with Excel, data analysis and systems improvement.
Office Administration
- Manage Printer paper and toner orders, ensuring we're never low on stock
- General office upkeep, reporting broken items and ensuring a fix (tech related)
- Manage office moves (physically setting up new work stations)
Salary:
Salary: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Admissions support or working in an academic environment is a plus.
- Experience with computer hardware and software, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Expertise with Windows and MacOS operating systems.
- Knowledge of remote support tools and remote desktop access.
- Experience with CRM software, databases, and email clients.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work well with a team and in a fast-paced environment.
