Your job
Purpose of the Position
You will provide first line support to users across our multiple offices.
You will be given the opportunity to work across a variety of applications built to support the insurance workflow including the processing of Policy and Claims data and reports, supporting both internal staff and clients that are integrated with us for data flows.
You will develop additional skills and enhance your technical knowledge in areas such as Windows Server OS, VMware, MS operating systems as well MS Office365.

The Role
- You will provide first line support to all users.
- Ensure Maintenance of Network and all LT. Equipment.
- Responsibility for maintaining satisfactory levels of consumables.
- Assist IT Support team
- Ensure systems are reliable and satisfactory backups are produced and maintained.
- This varied role is based within the Information Technology department.
Overview
Responsibilities
- Work independently.
- An ability to complete tasks promptly.
- Help internal staff, managing the issue from identification, support and ultimate resolution.
- Assist First Line support for Hardware and Software when needed.
- Maintain and log help-desk calls.
- Help set up new users and remove leavers from the network.
- Support Desktop PC Building and Imaging.
- Assist IT Support team on Business Continuity Scenarios and Invocations
Key Skills and Experience
- Inclined to learn, both new applications and grow technical knowledge.
- Assess problems highlighted from a variety of channels.
- Problem solver, and plan to avoid problems in the future.
- Experience with the dynamics of a small team.
- Organised and able to prioritise.
- Record keeping surrounding repetitive issues that arise, and measure application performance.
- Ability to work with different teams and discuss issues in a technical context.
- Experience with customer service.
- Knowledge on Microsoft Operating systems, both server and client.

Terms and Conditions
- This position is offered on a 6-month FTC basis and is office based in London with reporting line to the IT Manager.
Benefits
This position is offered on a Fixed Term contract basis. Annual salary will be dependent on the experience of the successful candidate. Bell & Clements offer standard employee benefits. Annual leave - 25 days per year (not including bank holidays), increases with length of service.
