IT Support Apprenticeship
Who are we?
You might be thinking “but I do not know anything about pensions or financial services, and will I enjoy it”? this is where Barnett Waddingham will help you – we understand it can be very daunting starting your first job after school or college and we can help you make that transition into the workplace with our friendly teams to support you. We also have fantastic social events organised by each team which you can get involved in too!
What will you do as a IT Support Apprentice?
- Responding to IT related tickets whilst prioritizing issues
- Provide IT Support to the local office users
- Escalating issues to the relevant teams
- Mobile device management including setup and distribution
- Setup of laptop hardware, peripherals, and user troubleshooting
- Document fixes and troubleshooting techniques and distribute this information to the IT support team to improve efficiencies
- Participate in team meetings with all team members to discuss projects, issues, and team performance
