This is an ICT Level 3 Apprenticeship role - split 80/20 between employment with the employer, and learning & gaining qualifications with Solveway Apprenticeships!

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Respond to Helpdesk requests remotely
- Help desk calls –taking help desk calls; logging and tracking calls
- Hardware and software repairs in a workshop facility
- Installation of hardware and software
- Carry out network documentation and reporting
- Assisting with sourcing spare parts and replacement equipment
- Assisting Technical team with maintenance tasks and installs
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Solveway delivers training through live-stream training, classroom learning in our Stevenage-based academy and online courses.
80% of your working week will be spent with your employer and the remaining 20% will be spent working towards your apprenticeship qualification - either through online training, revision, self-study, etc. This is roughly 1 day a week.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
After successfully achieving the ICT Level 3 qualification, the candidate will be considered for extra training (such as the Network Engineer Level 4 apprenticeship) and/or the opportunity to progress to a more senior level with the firm and a career within tech.
Qualifications
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4+) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4+) essential

Our services are geared around the specific needs of our customers ensuring everything we do is focused around improving business IT and performance.
Supporting the Technical Team, you will be providing general assistance to the team including workshop repairs and commissioning of equipment, deliveries, documentation, 1st Line support both onsite and remotely.
You will be exposed to a range of technologies including networking, wireless, desktop devices, audio visual systems and a range of software platforms, alongside the structured training program in conjunction with Apprenticeship Training.
Monday to Friday 09:00am 5:30pm
£14,000 per annum
