Job Overview:
Reporting to the IT Director, the IT Support Analyst will provide 1 & 2 level support to our various Clients located all over GTA. This position mainly involves remote and phone support but some lifting may be required (i.e. desktops, monitors, etc.). Some of the key technologies supported will be: MS Office applications, e-mail, Web applications, Mobile devices, AD,Wi-Fi infrastructure and standard desktop/laptop and peripheral hardware.
Position Description:
- Respond to telephone calls, e-mails, and personnel requests for technical support
- Create, track and close tickets for end-users issues.
- Update end-users with the status of their ticket.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct- PC hardware, software and peripherals problems
- AD and O365 troubleshooting
- Support standard desktop application as well as industry specific applications
- Provide end-user documentation and maintain support related to solutions provided
Key Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting skills, able to identify the scope of tasks and problems as they arise
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation mindset
- Able to work effectively on team as well as independently
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, or related discipline
- Experience 4 years+
- Knowledge of the Desktop/Server operating systems (i.e. Windows Server 2012/2016, Windows 10, MAC OS)
- Experience with PCs, cabling, computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Working Experience in AD, Endpoint Protections
- Working experience with TCP/IP and WAN/LAN technologies
