As a member of the Service Delivery Team, the IT Support Workshop plays a vital role being customer-focused. You will have prior experience in supporting client build requests, break fixes, and maintenance through workshop teamwork. You will ideally also have previous of managing a Build Room / Worksop as well.
The IT Support Workshop Manager will work closely with the IT Support Workshop Apprentice to ensure the efficient functioning of the Workshop. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop by correctly allocating equipment, accounting for stock, managing all processes, and performing builds & repairs of IT equipment to a high standard and in line with service level agreements. To excel in the role, you must possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the technical ability required of a Workshop Technician.
It is essential to have a passion for technology and provide outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Build all kit to client orders.
- Booking in of new kit or returned kit.
- Making sure that all kit is labelled and assigned to the correct location
- Maintaining of documentation in terms of the workshop processes (builds/repairs/warranty claims etc)
- Updating of tickets/end users on process of their tickets/works being carried out
- Liaising with clients on their builds/repairs/deliveries
- Acting as the first point of contact for workshop technical service requests.
- Prioritisation and management of workload to ensure client SLAs are met
Skills / Attributes Required
- A minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar position managing a Workshop, Build Room or IT Break Fix function plus a minimum of 2 years working with the key technologies for the position.
- Be able to reset devices via a Windows ISO on memory stick
- Experience of fresh start/remote wipe devices on Azure/Intune
- Being able to Azure join devices
- Join devices to local AD domain
- Strong communication, documentation and organisation skills

- Annual Salary is up to £32k pa, this is depending on experience and accreditations
- 24 Days Holiday plus your birthday
- The hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
- Based full-time the Milton Keynes Office.
