Our mission is achieved through culturally appropriate programs such as counselling, childcare, educational, and employment services and youth development.
Who we look for: Reporting to the Head of Information Technology, the successful candidate is responsible for assisting the IT Department in providing help desk and technical support to users for a broad spectrum of issues including operating system, hardware, network and general software.
What you will do:
- Provide helpdesk support, log inquiries, and resolve problems in accordance to SLA
- Support PC hardware components, desktop operating system software, and application software
- Troubleshoot equipment such as printers and scanners and other peripherals
- Monitor end point devices, antivirus software and updates
- Repair and recover computers infected with spyware, adware and/or viruses
- Assist in troubleshooting LAN/WLAN network problems
- Support the maintenance of end user accounts, permissions and passwords
- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
- Assist in the documentation of IT procedures
- Report issues and assist with escalation management
What you will need:
- Post-secondary education in IT or a related field; students welcome
- knowledge of cloud services, computer systems, security, network and systems administration is an asset
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and IT skills
- Ability to articulate and explain IT related topics to users
