The Vancouver Club is seeking a skilled and motivated Information Technologist (IT Specialist) to support with the network administration and information system needs of the Club. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and customizing our systems, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration with other software applications. Your expertise will be essential in troubleshooting issues and providing technical support to internal users. Working with both our guests externally and the Management team internally, you will be required to build strong relationships and provide The Vancouver Club standards of service at all times.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the technical needs of members and guests and supports the Club’s staff with all technical needs, with a focus on network connectivity and ease of use.
- Ensures regular maintenance and support of all Local Area Networks (LANs & VLANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and their associated infrastructure.
- Performs hardware and software installs as needed.
- Monitors and manages the use of software and associated services, like email, file storage, and cloud providers.
- Implementation of security procedures and policies to ensure the physical and cyber security of the Club’s network and computer equipment.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant working experience in I.T. infrastructure and/or cloud systems, particularly Cisco Meraki and North Star Management software
- Experience with implementing a new system an asset
- Apple Mac OS, iOS and iPad OS experience
- Experienced with streaming video and presentation services (Airtame, Airplay, Chromecast) and presentation hardware is an asset.
- Demonstrate superior customer service philosophy
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements across systems.
- Highly self-motivated with a commitment to staying up to date on the latest technologies and industry trends.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must have exceptional integrity in maintaining confidential information.
