About The Role
Recipharm (formerly Bespak) are looking for an IT Apprentice to join the Service Desk Team which is based at our site in King’s Lynn. This is a two-and-a-half-year apprenticeship where you will achieve the Information Communications Technician Level 3 partnered with practical on-the-job learning. Previous apprentices have gone on to work with in our IT department in roles such as Service Desk Analyst, Incident management Analyst & Applications support Analyst. You will also benefit from 28 days leave plus bank holidays, 8% company pension contribution to employees 3%, onsite parking and medical + dental insurance.
This is an interactive role where you will be the first point of call on the service desk so you will be talking to people throughout the day about their IT requests. As an IT Apprentice you will be supporting / learning from the IS Service desk team who are responsible for the day-to-day IT Support across the Kings Lynn site. You will be a key part in contributing towards the smooth running of key IT operational functions across the business. The starting salary is £16,500 and will rise throughout the apprenticeship in line with performance and completing apprenticeship objectives.

As our IT Apprentice your duties will include:
- Greeting members of staff who come to IT to understand their requests.
- Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle
- Provide IT support for all on-site employees.
- Support staff desk monitors, laptops, printers and meeting room equipment.
- Develop good working relationships with, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Liaise with suppliers to look at cost and purchase and configure software/hardware.
About You
- Approachable, friendly and a polite manner.
- A good level of Maths and English.
- Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle
- A passion for Technology and developing your skills in the area of IT.
- Good planning, organisational and time management skills.
- Liaise with established suppliers to procure, purchase, and configure Software / Hardware for end users.
