Summary of the Role
Working as part of the IT Development Team, the Full stack Software Developer will work to understand stakeholders' needs to design and develop innovative, high quality IT bespoke software solutions, automations, and integrations in line with industry best practice.

There is an increasingly important role for internal development of industry leading solutions in support of Addleshaw Goddard's (AG) business strategy for delivery of innovative new legal services. Their work will provide AG with a critical competitive advantage over other more conventional law firm technologies and business models.

The Software Developer will engage with stakeholders in understanding the opportunity or problem, and wherever possible provide options on how these could best be met with custom application development, within the relevant constraints of time, budget, and resource.

As part of the IT delivery team, solutions will be delivered using industry standard best practices, processes, and tools – and will follow the strict coding and security standards set by the development team.

The Full stack Software Developer will work with the latest technologies including .Net 6.0, Docker Containers, Azure Hosting, Terraform/ARM Templates, and Azure DevOps for task management and CI/CD.

Duties

Work with AG stakeholders needing new application-based solutions to understand the opportunity or problem, and wherever possible provide options on how these could best be met within the relevant constraints of time, budget, and resource
Design and develop innovative, high quality IT bespoke software solutions, automations, and integrations to meet these needs
Be aware of, actively seek out, and become familiar with new candidate technologies. Demonstrating their value, application, and limitations by building prototypes and proofs of concept
Communicate solution options and designs to technical and non-technical audiences
Commit changes regularly through GIT source control and maintain branches in line with the branch policies
Contribute to code re
