You will be Accountable for all IT Service Delivery Performance to the business, with particular focus on IT service availability for business-as-usual operations. Supporting programme delivery via flawless service transition to BAU and continually evolving and enhancing IT Service integration performance based on ITIL principles leveraging significant collaboration and partnership working with 3rd party partners.

What you will be doing:
You will Influence policy and strategy formation. Initiates influential relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and partners at senior management level, including industry leaders.
- Makes decisions which impact the work of employing organisations, achievement of organisational objectives and financial performance.
- Influence’s organisation, customers, suppliers, partners and peers on the contribution of own specialism. Builds appropriate and effective business relationships.
- Makes decisions which impact the success of assigned work, i.e. results, deadlines and budget. Has significant influence over the allocation and management of resources appropriate to given assignments.
- Works with the Head of IT Service Management to agree and deliver strategies for IT service delivery that support the strategic needs of Rolls Royce Submarines. Authorises allocation of resources for monitoring IT service delivery arrangements. Develops relationships with customers at senior levels to identify potential areas of mutual commercial interest for future development.
- Contributes to strategies for managing supplier relationships, embracing effective operational relationships at all levels. Works closely with owning teams during sourcing and procurement activities.
Who we are looking for:

- Previous Senior Manager within IT or similar position held.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience of leading distributed teams in a global business environment.
- Can demonstrate defined authority and successful improvement outcomes for a maturing IT service.
- Evidence of creating a new in-house Service Integration function.
- Professional IT service qualification or equivalent.
- Can demonstrate experience working in the defence industry. Is capable of navigating progress in ambiguous circumstances

To work for the Rolls-Royce Submarines Business an individual has to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if the individual does not currently already have this in place.
Due to the nature of work the Business conducts and the protection of certain assets a person has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non ITAR country.
