IT Security Analyst

Hybrid/London

£40,000 to £45,000 DOE

Bridge Recruitment are currently recruiting for an IT Security Analyst to join a busy Operational Risk Team. This is a new permanent role working for a Bank in the City of London reporting into the Head of Information Security. You will support the delivery of the IT Security strategy through implementation of the Cyber security programme, configuration and management of cyber security solutions, and proactive collaboration with the security operations functions.

Duties include but not limited to:

· Required to assist with the delivery of the strategic Cyber Security roadmap and maintaining regulatory compliance

· Being a security point of contact to advise and guide the IT team as to effective ways of operating the diverse security tooling

· Assist with the collection and presentation of assurance that the security controls are operating as intended and within the risk tolerance, which involves organising vulnerability management and penetration testing exercises

· Ensuring that the team maintains an awareness of the current threat landscape and help with the identification of innovative controls and mitigations to match

· Supporting the Head of Information Security with maintenance and delivery of cyber security training for the Bank

· Help to generate security performance metrics and KPIs

· Assist in ensuring that the Bank can effectively respond and recover from Cyber security incidents

Requirements for the role:

· Educated to a degree level (or equivalent) ideally in computer science or a related field

· Familiarity with internationally recognised IT Security standards and frameworks such as Cyber Essentials, NIST, or ISO27001/2

· Understanding of how IT Security tooling such as Firewalls, AV, Proxies and IDS/IPS operate

· Familiar with the Microsoft stack including desktops, servers and cloud services.

· Understanding of Patching and Vulnerability management

Salary: £400,000.00-£450,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Information Security: 2 years (required)
