Role Summary

Aubay is seeking an IT Recruitment Specialist to join our Global Energy client's sourcing and recruitment team to support their rapid expansion in 2023. As a recruitment and sourcing subject matter expert, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering the sourcing strategy aligned to one of the business’ IT centres. Effectively you will be managing suppliers to fill a number of IT roles in a timely manner. Collaboration and relationship skills are the key to success in this role as you will be liaising globally across various functions, from Contract and Procurement to Strategy and Planning.

In this role, you will be a vital part of our client's resource management team, which focuses on sourcing the right people to match business demand, supplier management, and recruitment strategy. You will be working directly with our client's IT department, and you will have the opportunity to develop both your recruitment expertise and business analysis skills. We are specifically looking for somebody who is confident managing senior leadership and C-suite level stakeholders and has a strong understanding of the UK IT recruitment landscape to effectively manage stakeholder expectations and to challenge them as required.

Alongside your expert analytical and relationship skills, you’ll have a robust understanding of IT recruitment and its range of roles and skills. We’re keen to hear from applicants who have experience of delivering in a maturing business model, who are happy acting autonomously and are passionate about driving forward-thinking solutions. Beyond that, we’d hope to see as many of the following on your CV:

  • IT contract recruitment experience preferably within an in house or recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) environment.
  • Skilled in reporting and data analytics and is confident presenting insights to senior stakeholders.
  • An understanding of the disciplines and roles in IT delivery and services.
  • Proven expertise in planning and organization preferably in a large and highly complex global environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to work at pace
  • Resource management or supplier management.
  • Previous experience within the Energy space would be highly advantageous but is not required.

Key Responsibilities
Alongside your excellent relationship skills and analytical mind, your background in recruitment roles will stand you in good stead here together with a talent for organization and analysis. In this role, you will expertly identify current and future skill and capability gaps in order to support on-going evolution of our supplier delivery landscape.

  • Managing full end to end of delivery to a variety of IT roles
  • Managing of a variety of IT Recruitment Suppliers
  • Creating an appropriate recruitment/sourcing approach/strategy for each IT need
  • Liaising with a large number of senior stakeholders to keep all parties informed
  • Reporting insightful data to the various stakeholders and forums
