As a IT project manager, you’ll join a dynamic organisation that drives a world-leading culture with regards to our responsibility towards our internal colleagues and the bank’s customers alike. You’ll need to be a quick thinker and adaptable to fast paced change in accordance with the nature of IT operations and senior management direction.

You will need strong inter-personal and communication skills, both verbal and written, and be willing to engage with people from a huge variety of backgrounds with the aim of ensuring our vibrant culture of ideas, manifests into tangible change that benefits both colleagues and customers alike as part of IT service management.
The difference you’ll make.
- Collaborating with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the T&O division to drive building a better technical base for the future
- Analysing the key building blocks of our technology & operations services
- Managing technology transformation plans within T&O CIO Payment Services in the Cheque and Domestic Payments arena
- Delivering cloud based resilient solutions that achieve business goals aligning them with the technology strategy of the UK and HQ
- Providing input to steering committees and business governance processes
- Ensuring quality and timely deliveries within a sustainable service model
What you’ll bring.
- Detailed knowledge of change and project management techniques including strong stakeholder management skills, ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders along with excellent verbal communication, facilitation and problem solving
- Customer focused, accustomed to working with the business areas to achieve successful change
- Effective persuasion, negotiation and communication skills with internal/external customers, suppliers and product vendors
- Strong all-round leadership and team-working with a hands-on approach where required.
It would also be nice for you to have.
- A qualification in project management covering waterfall and agile, e.g. Prince2, PMP, Scrum Master or recognised equivalent
- Proven experience of successful project delivery in Financial Service
- A good understanding of programme and project management
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

This is a fixed term/secondment 12-month contract with Hybrid working.
