Introduction
We are looking for a Project Manager to deliver projects from concept through to project completion within time, quality, and cost targets. Candidates will need experience in bid/pre-sales and brining those components and requirements into a project to deliver.
You will be required on-site a minimum of 3 days per week in Bristol due to the project objectives and requirements.
My client are an engineering and technology consultancy who supplier their clients with complex engineering solutions across the defence sector. Due to the nature of the role, candidates must hold an active SC or DV Clearance to be considered for this opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver projects from concept to project completion within time scales, to quality and cost targets.
- Lead the delivery bids with the account and technical team.
- Develop effective relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners.
- Financial management of projects to ensure delivery against accurate financial forecasts.
- Manage the resource requirements of the project.
- Maintain a risk register of threats and opportunities for the programme and validate contingency costs against these.
Skills & experience
- Extensive enterprise software Project Management experience.
- Experience of working within a post start-up environment.
- Excellent Stakeholder Management experience.
- Extensive experience in managing projects that range from conceptual research through to sub-system development, and delivery.
- IT, Future Technology, mission critical project delivery of £5m in a structured environment in the Insurance, Cruise and Defence Sectors.
- Pre-sale / bid delivery experience.
