London: Hybrid working arrangements, (1-2 days per week in the office and the rest from home)
Salary & Benefits: £61,911 to £72,230 per annum, plus annual personal bonus, 15% employer pension contribution, 4% flexible cash pot, private medical insurance, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Where does this role sit?
We’re the Enterprise Data and Machine Learning Value Stream! Specifically you’ll support the Data Product Build programme (DPB) . The Data Product Build programme is building strategic data products that will be consumed across the Bank they will be used by all divisions and cross-functional areas. These data products are being built on public cloud technology and will involve several modern technology components.
What will I focus on in this role?
You'll be supporting the Senior Data Product Owner who is responsible for the delivery of six separate strategic data products and six feature teams, within the Strategic Data Product Build platform. You’ll support them to;
Identify the prioritise key objectives across the teams Support governance & reporting activities to free up the senior data product owners time Support risk, issue & dependency management Day to day engagement with product owners in the platform Support budget management Support the Engineering Leads in the platform.
We use a combination of Agile & Waterfall project delivery, modern DevOps engineering practices and are always trying to continually improve & develop.
The area, or Lab, you'll work within will be made up of multidisciplinary professionals including engineers, analysts, architects, business users, product owners and anyone else required to deliver your programme or projects successfully.
You’ll also support some Scrum Master style tasks, including supporting product prioritisation & backlog management alongside the Product Owner.
Specific activities which you’ll be responsible for include things like;
- Supporting planning activities
- Governance & controls
- Reporting & tracking
- Backlog prioritisation
- Establishing and managing risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies
- Coordinating with software engineers, product owners, analysts, customers, technical specialists amongst others to ensure successful delivery
- Stakeholder management

What do we need to see from applicants?
We like people who come from diverse cultural backgrounds and are really looking for someone passionate about technology, ambitious and has a good problem solving mentality. On your CV, we need to see the following to consider you for interview;
- Career background in either an Technical Project Manager role or a Technical Scrum Master role having been heavily involved in prior Data projects.
- You’ll want a good awareness of large scale data systems, how information flows through them & complexities in a large corporate.
- Experience of both Waterfall & Agile project delivery
- Experience supporting a move to cloud based systems in some shape or form.
- Comfortable engaging senior staff, building relationships & trust.
- Ability to influence & inspire the teams we support!
