IT Product Owner Remote
Job description
Business Partner Accountabilities
· Own Digital Product(s) and progress them through their lifecycle to ensure they deliver business value. From initial PoC to industrializing, scaling and developing the technical product backlog.
· In partnership with the business product owner and other business stakeholders create the product stratergy and ensure technology roadmap is aligned to deliver business value.
· Partner with relevant IT Teams to ensure that all IT services used by the function meet the agreed performance outcomes and drive continuous improvement initiatives as required.
· Primary point of contact for the function to resolve and manage Product service issues/problems/incidents.
· Drive end-to-end IT satisfaction, ROI and TCO improvements for the functional area.
· Provide thought leadership to develop the product strategy, define the technology direction, and own the IT/Digital strategy and roadmap.
· Partner with the business to develop clear business cases linked to business and IT outcomes
· Prioritisation of product feature backlogs working closely with scaled delivery and external partners.
· Drive the collation of information from relevant sources for analysis and trends for informed decision making, using a high degree of domain area knowledge and expertise.
· Communicate, influence, and provide advice to relevant stakeholders to drive strategy and projects.
· Frame, create and sign off acceptance criteria for backlog requirements with the support of the team and the BA.
· Lead Service Design and Assurance for the digital product
· Conduct and ensure IT Compliance through risk assessments, change processes and data governance processes are duly met
· Accountable for the delivery of projects and programs including resolving issues, escalations, and identify ways to mitigate risks.
Work collaboratively with:
- Business and IT teams and other senior stakeholders to build their understanding of IT strategy, programmers and challenges
o IT Strategy, Architecture, Portfolio Management and Project/Programme Management to agree the future shape of proposed solutions and initiate projects in partnership
- OpsIT Capability and Region Teams to create alignment and identify cross-business innovative opportunities
- Business analysts to manage requirements and build business cases
- Solution and Service delivery , DAAI and Operational Excellence to ensure business expectations are fulfilled
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary: £342.00-£650.12 per day

- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Product management: 2 years (required)
- Pharma domain: 3 years (required)
- product owner: 1 year (preferred)
