IT Operations Manager (up to £60,000 per annum)
We’re looking for an IT Operations Manager to join our Change & Technology team on a full time permanent basis, working 35 hours per week.

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, as the IT Operations Manager you will own and ensure the smooth delivery of appropriate IT services enabling Golden Charter’s business to operate, in the context of a rapidly changing business and architectural landscape. A key part of the role is understanding what your colleagues across the wider business experience, and managing service accordingly to meet needs.
As IT Operations Manager, you will oversee the Incident Management process to provide assurance that all Service Desk tickets are being managed effectively. You will require to co-ordinate internal support and external service providers whilst ensuring effective communication on all matters relating to the systems, delivery, availability and satisfaction of customer service requirements.
You will be expected to own and drive appropriate policies, standards, processes and procedures to ensure the quality and effectiveness of technology solutions. You will also be responsible for managing budgets and resources.
Essential Criteria
- You will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- A clear understanding of service operations, SLA and processes and their interdependencies are essential
- You must have sound knowledge & experience in IT Service Management
- Experience working with suppliers to deliver a range of services & support
Desirable Criteria
- BSc (or relevant work experience) in computer science, IT infrastructure, Service Management, Cyber Security
- Industry certifications (ITIL)
- Knowledge and experience in IT policy creation/management
- Experience in managing suppliers to ensure they meet their contractual obligations
- Experience working within a regulated environment
