About the Role
Here at Darlington Building Society, we have a committed and knowledgeable IT & Business Transformation team who are the driving force of the Society from delivering day to day IT support as well as system transformation. To support the team in its future plans we are recruiting for a IT Operations manager who will lead the Society’s IT Operations function.
This role will involve driving high performing IT Service Desk and Application Support teams, encouraging, and identifying efficiencies in processes, as well as delivering on the Society IT strategy.
As an Operations Manager you will govern across all areas of Darlington Building Society’s services including service management, incident and change management, transition of new services, continual service improvement as well as playing a key role in ensuring the highest level of operational service delivery. This position involves maintaining and developing 3rd party relationships, managing service users satisfaction, and delivering strategic projects.
It will be part of your role to lead and mentor your team to strive for excellence as an internal department.

Salary: £49816 to £56068 dependant on experience
