The Team

The Egress IT Ops team is a small (4 engineers) friendly, very busy close-knit team and is based at our London and Sheffield offices. With a wide variety of work, you’ll have the opportunity to work as part of the team and to manage projects.

The Role

You will be assisting the team to:

• support 290 users spread across the UK, North America, and Australia
• manage and monitor the IT Ops on-prem and cloud infrastructure, identify and troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs or upgrades
• monitor security threats and vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and maintain compliance with data security regulations
• maintain and support services (e.g., video conferencing, cloud telephony, MS Office365)
• continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT infrastructure and processes

The Person

As a member of the IT Ops team, you will be expected to be able to work both independently and as part of a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Being a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a challenging and rewarding environment, you will be a problem solver, a quick learner, have a passion for technology and be confident communicating with a wide range of people from juniors to senior executives.
