- Previous experience resolving issues surrounding corporate AV equipment
- Comfortable in a number of technologies, ranging from Networking/Patching through to VIOP & Telecoms
- Confidence in AV diagnostics (including minor break/fix issues)
- Due to the varied nature of the role, it may be subject to enhanced referencing or vetting
Your Tasks
As operations for the project expand, we now seek to appoint a skilled IT support engineer, specialising in corporate AV equipment, that can resolve and prepare various AV issues & configurations, floorwalking the office to ensure full-operation throughout the day.
Working with our client – a class-leader in the oil & gas / Utilities sector, you will support the office with user AV needs – this could include, VOIP, patching, standard telephone, audio equipment, presentation projectors etc. The range of technologies will be broad and industry-standard.
Your role will initially involve troubleshooting, and where problems arise that require escalation to 2nd/3rd line support, you liaise with the team in passing the issue to the team.
Key to the role, is your ability proactively monitor the site in a range of floorwalker / sweeping health-checks, as well as ensuring that the office is equipped and operational at all time.
