Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Manager-Citrix Engineering at United Airlines, you’ll lead the Architecture/Engineering team by delivering secure and reliable Citrix solutions in support of the IT strategy and United’s desired business outcomes. Cultivate a continuous improvement culture to provide ever-better methods of delivery and to broaden and deepen the technical skills of the team. Provide leadership to the team removing obstacles to delivery performance and to ensure department and individual goals are met.
- Define implementation methodologies and deployment guidance to ensure clean and repeatable system installations
- Align technical IOE strategy to business requirements related to technology at the edge
- Lead efforts to prioritize team deliverables and properly allocate resources to programs, projects, and other work assignments
- Organize technical organizations including IOE, application development, data analytics, and security to collaborate Citrix strategy
- Ensure all production deployments are fully operational, tested, and properly documented to meet all turnover criteria for production support and auditability
- Strong foundation in tracking multiple technical deliverables simultaneously
- Mentoring and assisting employees to develop individual career development and training plans
- Manage organizational tasks such as HR administration, timekeeping, expense reporting, etc. for all team employees and contractor
- Assist in capital planning, budget tracking, and resource allocation processes as required
- Collaborate with call center and other operations to identify end user requirements and technical constraints to deploying Citrix technology at the edge and datacenters
- Meet with business contacts on recurring basis to capture key technology initiatives in order to align with overall Citrix strategy
- Engage IOE Project Management Office to develop Citrix budgets and programs
- Lead proof of concepts with technology providers to identify Citrix products to address business and technical requirements
- Manage cross functional team to design, test, deploy, and secure Citrix technology solutions for UAL business partners

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree (Information Technology)
- 3 years in IT Management
- 9 + Years of related experience
- Developing and implementing a successful delivery optimization plan
- Expertise in leading and influencing technical staff and working across multiple technology teams
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
