Hands on IT Team Lead - Northwest London - £40-45K
My client a leading lighting specialist for global live events are looking for a talented IT Manager to maintain a sustainable IT department as well as assisting in the refresh of some areas of the company's infrastructure over the next three years.
In this position you will be working underneath the Senior IT Manager helping assists on projects, maintaining infrastructure and helping junior engineers when required.
Your duties of the role:
Work with the Business Solutions Team to align IT projects with the wider company strategy
Highlight areas of weakness in IT, identifying potential projects or training for Neg Earth employees
Provide 3rd line support to users where the company's Managed Service Provider cannot provide the required support remotely.
Any other duties as required / authorized by your Line Manager / Line Management reporting line
Manage the implementation, installation, configuration and upgrading of existing and new hardware and software.
Develop and maintain monitoring tools for infrastructure performance, including networking, servers and security and provide regular reporting on results
Key Skills:
Prior experience of administrating and implementing SharePoint and Azure AD is essential, including a solid understanding of SharePoint best practices
Great communication skills, being able to liaise with 3rd parties in a friendly professional manner
Great understanding of being able to balance between core IT support and project-based
Good working knowledge of GDPR
MCA or MCSA qualifications related to O365
Experience with Veeam Backup and Replication technology
