Job description
Business Systems Change Manager
Elland/Hybrid, West Yorkshire
About Marshalls
Our Marshalls mission is ‘Creating Better Spaces’. We’re a Superbrand and a successful FTSE 250 company. The brand is a market leader in quality; supplying prestigious landmarks such as Trafalgar Square, whilst also caring for the environment and communities in which we operate. We are the only company to have paved every square on the Monopoly board, so no doubt you will have walked on our paths and visited one of our famous landmarks!
At Marshalls we recognise the need to invest in our workforce and that our most important asset is our people, with IT being our primary driver for continuous improvement to systems and processes. This role will help to manage and prepare the business for the positive changes that IT brings.
What’s my mission?
Focussing on the people within Marshalls, you will be responsible for implementing change across the business and communicating that change to various work groups and business leaders. Focussing on our Tier 1 IT projects, you will work closely with programme and project managers across multiple areas of the business to help manage and prepare Marshalls for the change that technology brings not just from a systems perspective, but digital as well.
It's an exciting time to join us as you’ll be involved in multiple projects and play a key role in modernising the business, helping to future-proof its systems and processes. Some of the key projects and changes currently underway involve Dynamics 365 and business orchestration. You’ll also work closely with our deployment team to ensure projects are successfully embedded into BAU.
Whilst we encourage a balance of working from home, there is an expectation for you to work from our head office in Elland on a regular basis. This will be key to your development, building your understanding of the business, and creating professional relationships. Travel to other sites may also be required.
Interested in taking on the mission?
Here at Marshalls, we are committed to your ongoing personal and professional development, and we think your potential new team will be able to vouch for that! In addition, we will offer you;

- Training and development opportunities
- 5% employer matched pension scheme
- Cycle to work scheme
- Employee discount on Marshalls products
- Retailer discounts
- Marshalls Wellbeing Centre – move, money & mind
- Share purchase scheme

What are the mission critical skills?
You’ll need to have a strong understanding of the impact technology has on a business and how to effectively communicate that change to multiple business functions. Being able to adapt your approach, quickly build relationships and influence others towards a common goal is key to this role. Below are some additional skills and experience that will stand you in good stead;

- Change management accreditation and experience
- The ability to prioritise and plan work effectively

We call this doing business The Marshalls Way. We want our team to reflect the diverse nature of society and the communities we serve. Marshalls is a workplace where you are valued for the contribution you make, and where you can grow and develop by being entirely yourself!
Closing date: Sunday 23rd July
