Promotes a high performing business environment by managing application development teams .
Essential Job Results
Works closely with development teams to ensure software delivery according to defined success criteria. Provide continuous guidance in the design, development and implementation of large-scale IT projects. Ensures delivery of reliable, high performance applications and technical services by using Agile software development principles. Aligns with the department’s vision and works closely with business partners to develop technology plan. Proposes, and negotiates technology solutions in accordance with Company goals and functional guidelines. Manages vendor relationships by reviewing progress and evaluating and measuring performance. Meets financial objectives by overseeing and managing annual budget. Motivates and develops staff by assessing strengths and weaknesses and providing appropriate developmental and training opportunities. Implements successful hiring and retention practices.

Pay
- The starting salary for this role is estimated to be between $98,000 and $117,000. Pay may vary based on skills, work experience, education.
Experience/Education/Skills
- Minimum 10 years of overall experience related to programming/systems analysis or system architecture with at least 4 years of experience in project and people management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience with full system development life cycle methods for generating business software solutions.
- Proven experience in delivery of applications using - Angular, Python, JAVA, PL/SQL, Payara.
- Experience with Amazon Web services preferred.
- Strong experience with Microservices.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong development and project management experience using Agile.
- Demonstrated ability to manage software development projects through completion.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and delegation skills.
- Ability to resolve divergent interests and make quick, effective decisions.
- Ability to develop in-depth understanding of your teams operations, contracts and accounting.
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
- Financial / budgeting acumen.
- Hospitality industry knowledge a plus.
