- Manage 1st/ 2nd line issues through our new Service Desk application.
- Maintain and troubleshoot a wide variety of devices/ cloud services/ on-premises services and client software applications.
- Technical build and setup of standard PC hardware.
- Remote installations of software and upgrades.
- Creation of knowledgebase articles.
- Assist with any new IT service migrations.
- Support Optos’ employees both remotely and onsite.
- 24 months IT support experience within a business environment.
- PC hardware and configuration skills essential.
- Good experience of Windows operating systems and mobile IOS.
- Solid working knowledge of Office 365/ Microsoft 365 (including Teams and SharePoint).
- Knowledge of ITSM operations, responsibilities, workflow processes and procedures.
- Willingness to learn new technologies as required.
- Strong team player with a flexible attitude to work priorities.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet all the required deadlines and expectations.
- Extremely high level of customer service with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to “think on your feet” and react positively to given situations.
