Salary: £27,131 - £30,502 per annum
Hours of work: 35 Hours a week
Contract: Permanent
Location: This position will be a multi-site role that will require the successful candidate to work in an agile manner.

The Faculty of Science & Engineering draws together a wide range of disciplines across four schools:
1. Aerospace, Civil, Electrical, General and Mechanical engineering
2. Mathematics and Computer Science
3. Biosciences, Geography and Physics.
4. Engineering and Applied Sciences

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled individuals to join a highly successful and motivated Digital and IT Technical Team that delivers exceptional support to its end users, which will involve working closely with technical team colleagues, professional services staff, academic staff and students.
The post holder will work closely with the Digital and IT Lead to deliver strategic ambitions ensuring alignment to over-arching faculty and university strategies.
The Digital and IT Technician post is responsible for supporting and coordinating the Faculty Digital and IT infrastructure and associated processes; ensuring the faculty has a resilient, compliant, and fit for purpose digital environment that is equipped to deliver business needs efficiently and effectively. Promoting the values and behaviours of the university, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, quality, sustainability and inclusivity within the faculty, the post holder will put our students, staff, collaborators and community at the heart of the University, helping to deliver a culture and outcomes that we can all be proud of.
