Job description
We are currently recruiting for a brand-new Deskside Support Specialist vacancy, on behalf of a leading global law firm.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based on-site in their Leeds office.
The successful candidate will provide deskside support to Leeds and other European offices on various applications, including Windows 10, MS Office 2016 Suite, M365, Work 10, Internet & Intranet, telephone, Unity Messaging, iPhone/Blackberry Work, Citrix, time recording, Teams, Zoom, Teamviewer and Big Hand.
Responsibilities will also include:
- Laptop imaging and deployment.
- Providing 2nd line support for issues escalated from the IT Help Desk in the US.
- Escalating problems when necessary,
- Setting up presentations, videoconferences and online-meetings on conference room floors and meeting rooms.
- Providing new joiner training as needed.
- Providing assistance in testing new or upgraded applications.
- Assisting with special projects as requested.
Suitable applicants will have gained prior experience in a similar position, ideally within a law firm (although professional services experience will also be considered). Candidates should also possess strong technical, communication and customer-service skills; alongside the ability to work on multiple projects at any one time, to tight deadlines. Basic knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and troubleshooting is also highly preferred.

Salary: Up to £34,000.00 per year
