About us:
At Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice we care for children and young adults with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions. We are support around 300 families both in our hospice and in family homes.
Our support services are wide ranging and bespoke to each family including end of life treatment and care, respite short breaks, counselling, sibling support groups, music therapy, home visits and much much more. It costs more than £5m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive around 15% of our funding from government sources.
The role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and driven IT Data Analyst to join the IT team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with data, who has a solid understanding of data sources, data organisation and storage, and the ability to communicate findings to a variety of stakeholders.
As a Data Analyst you will connect with management and use your experience in statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques to support critical decision making.
Responsibilities:
· Discovering significant trends and possibilities, utilise our data platforms and pull insights.
· Sharing analysis and results with senior stakeholders and business units alike.
· Creating monthly and quarterly analytical reports.
· Enhancing data management systems and executing data visualizations.
· Answering both internal and external questions related to data analysis.
The requirements:
To fulfil the role effectively you will have an IT or MIS qualification at degree level and/or significant experience of working with datasets, scheduling outputs to deadlines, to successfully produce analytical reports and communicate data findings with both clarity and accuracy.
