IT & Cyber Senior Audit Manager - £75,000 for national locations / c. £100,000 for London

A bit about the job:
Working as part of a highly effective, robust, and influential team, you will assess and report on the effectiveness and operation of controls and process within our IT space. You will lead on audit reviews, managing the timely production of high quality and concise reports framing your findings, as well as ensure that audit tests are designed to assess IT, Cyber and Operational Resilience controls in an effective and efficient manner. This position will also give you exposure to a wide range of IT, Cyber and Operational Resilience disciplines and stakeholders across all Aviva UK business units and will require you to build up strong relationships with our CISO and IT Risk community.
Aviva introduced “smart-working” in 2020 and encourage flexible working; however, the successful post-holder will need to be based a commutable distance from our London, Norwich or York offices.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Extensive background in conducting Penetration and/or Cyber testing / Ethical Hacking tasks, matched with strong IT, Cyber and Operational Resilience auditing experience
Cyber Security qualifications such as CISSP and/or Ethical Hacking qualifications are highly desirable
Prior experience working in Audit or Assurance team, ideally within a regulated industry like Financial Services, would be advantageous
Experience of planning, leading, and delivering complex IT, Cyber and Operational Resilience audits, testing and/or assessments
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex data into layperson's terms seamlessly
What you’ll get for this role:
Annual salary of c. £75,000 for national locations / c. £100,000 for London (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications).
