We are currently recruiting a IT Coordinator to join our IT team. This is a hybrid position, to be based in the UK.

You will be required in the London office 3 days a week.

Note you must have the right to work in your remote home based location and that national terms and conditions apply.

This role is classified as requiring standard pre-employment checks.

About the opportunity

The IT Coordinator will oversee all IT operations throughout RI’s offices, in the US, UK and the EU. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all local computer networks, configuring hardware and software, and providing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

User Support

· Compliance with the Service Charter of IT Support to provide high quality IT supports to all staff members and timely resolution to local IT support tickets.

· Support RI staff to troubleshoot computer problems, determine sources of issues, and deliver appropriate solutions.

· Setup new users’ accounts and assist users to access all IT-managed systems.

Computer Systems Monitoring and Maintenance

· Follow the RI Computer Standards to install and configure computer operating systems and all RI software.

· Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance to ensure all staff computers are up to date with important software and system updates, and compliance with all Global IT Requirement.

· Manage and keep track of IT inventory for all offices.

Network Monitoring and Maintenance

· Perform regularly scheduled network equipment maintenance to ensure all networks are running smoothly.

· Monitor networking firewalls and enforce network security policies.

· Diagnose and fix network problems or potential problems.

· Maintain other networked equipment, including but not limited to: printers, scanners, VoIP phones, and web conferencing systems.

Information Security Response

· Oversee the Information Security Operations throughout all offices.

· Monitor and respond to security alerts associated with all users and endpoints in the Microsoft Defender portal.

· Ensure all the computer devices are free of virus/malware, and the protection agents are up to date.

· InfoSec Incident Response - work closely with the IT Security Specialist to respond to any cyber-attacks targeting users or devices.

· InfoSec Configuration Control – work closely with the IT Solutions Specialist to deploy security configuration throughout all staff endpoints and address security vulnerabilities in timely manner.

IT knowledge and user training

· Complete and fulfill all IT Administrator training requirements.

· Provide standard IT user training and IT orientation to GSO staff.

· Attend necessary IT webinars and seminars to stay up to date with changes to all IT-managed solutions.

· Maintain knowledge of industry trends and support best practices

IT Supervision

· Supervise IT operations in all offices.

· Ensure the global IT policies and procedures are enforced.

· Monitor and audit IT inventory; enforce IT equipment procurement and assignment procedures

· Occasional domestic and international travel

· Participation in IT and other RI working groups.

· Research on IT software/systems as needed.

About you

What you will bring to this position:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivalent work-related experience

· Previous experience working with cloud-based (SaaS) solutions as system administrator or similar roles

· Expert in Microsoft Azure AD and M365 environment administration

· Good understanding of Identity Management (SSO, user provisioning, MFA) and MDM

· Holder of “Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert” and Knowledge in Cisco Meraki, Box, Power BI, or Power Automation is desirable.

· Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills

· Strong communication skills.
