Join Our Team as an IT Consultant

Are you an experienced IT professional looking to take your career to the next level? Do you have a passion for technology, a knack for client management, and a desire to make a real impact? If so, we have an exciting opportunity waiting for you!

About Us:

We are a well-established IT support and consultancy firm located in the heart of Canary Wharf, London. With almost 20 years of experience, we have built a reputation for providing top-notch technical consultancy and support services not only across the UK but also on a global scale.

The Role:

We are in search of a dynamic IT consultant to join our team. This role is perfect for either an experienced 2nd/3rd Line engineer with more than 5 years of experience looking to transition into a consultancy and client management role, or an existing consultant with a minimum of 2 years' experience seeking to further develop their skills.

As an IT consultant with us, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with clients to define project scopes and requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive IT roadmaps tailored to each client's needs and budget.
  • Skillfully project managing from inception to successful completion.
  • Providing expert guidance to clients while retaining a hands-on technical role.

This is not a sales-driven commission role; instead, we rely on our expertise to deliver precise solutions that align with our clients' unique needs.

Your Responsibilities:

As an IT consultant with us, you will:

  • Work closely with clients to establish project parameters.
  • Plan project timelines and allocate necessary resources.
  • Understand client system specifications and business practices.
  • Collaborate with clients at all organizational levels.
  • Define software, hardware, and network requirements.
  • Offer objective advice on IT use within companies.
  • Develop and implement agreed-upon solutions.
  • Present solutions through written and oral reports.
  • Procure systems when necessary.
  • Prepare documentation and provide progress reports.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.

The Position:

This is a remote role, offering flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. While most work can be done remotely, occasional travel to meetings and client sites will be required. The core activities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing IT roadmaps for our valued clients.
  • Leveraging your IT expertise to find optimal solutions and presenting proposals.
  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts and cultivating strong relationships.
  • Gaining in-depth knowledge of client needs and customizing solutions.
  • Staying current with IT trends, especially in infrastructure and cloud solutions, and translating these into actionable client solutions.

Your Skills:

We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • A keen interest in technology, particularly IT networking and cloud solutions.
  • Strong research skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-starter mentality within a team framework.
  • Confident and professional communication across all levels.
  • Adaptability and flexibility.
  • Analytical and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Team player with outstanding presentation and customer service skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven IT consulting experience.

If this opportunity aligns with your career goals and expertise, we invite you to apply now and share an up-to-date copy of your CV.
