About the Roles
These roles are instrumental in ensuring continuity of service and availability of our systems. You will be acting as second line support for all IT hardware and software enquiries within the University.
Based at our Canterbury campus the roles are essentially customer-facing, working closely with the broader IT Service Delivery Team. Acting as third-line support this may involve identifying and diagnosing technical problems and finding solutions to these and communicating directly with users in order to resolve them. The roles are responsible for the provision, support and replacement of IT supported hardware across all campuses.
About You
You will be helpful, skilled and aim to resolve problems with a methodical, organised and accurate approach. We are looking for proactive individuals who are ready for a new challenge.
The IT Campus Support Specialist role will be important in ensuring the provision of high‑quality technical support and timely customer service. This is a hands-on multi-disciplined technical role within the IT Service Delivery team, ensuring an effective and efficient service.
You will be a confident individual with excellent communication skills in varying circumstances and able to tailor this to your audience. You will enjoy liaising with others and can express yourself in a confident and concise manner. You will be a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure.
