Typical Accountabilities:
The Senior IT Business Partner will develop strategic management plans and initiatives, whilst running performance measurement processes that link strategic objectives to key performance indicators, to drive the delivery and the overall performance of the function and IT as a whole.
The Business Partner – R&D COO & GPPM will be the E2E point of contact for everything IT. They will use their experience, industry intelligence and an in-depth understanding of business processes and priorities to build and deliver an integrated roadmap to digitally transform the business areas they are responsible for.
The role and team will lead the identification of business problems, lead the development of business cases, ensure delivery excellence, and exploit investments to create maximum value.
Accountabilities :
Build strong relationships with business groups, with a deep understanding of strategic direction, changes and needs.
Assess IT needs & develop IT strategy and maintain roadmap for R&D COO & GPPM function, incorporating and consolidating all major IT projects/programmes – strategic and tactical.
Develop strategic plans, feasibility studies, cases, forecasting & demand planning, and performance metrics for monitor service and delivery.
Proactively finding opportunities to deliver innovative digital solutions to resolve business issues/challenges and crafting business value.
Champion change management across partner groups to ensure successful governance, communication, and general awareness. Share TechTips – keep business informed of key technology changes outside of R&D IT
Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and standardisation initiatives to exploit the maximum benefit from digital investments.
Lead team to drive a collaborative, inclusive, Great Place to Work environment for all IT colleagues
Skills required :
Bachelor level degree in Information Technology, Math, Computer Science and/or Business. Master's level degree preferred.
5-7 years of proven ability leading diverse technology teams with experience setting strategic plans and implementing them.
You are an excellent strategic problem solver, passionate about learning about business needs and building business sense – you are able to influence the business and you are superb at execution.
You have been a strong PM leading several sophisticated IT projects, have your PMP designation and experience leading Agile teams.
You have global experience and enjoy working with diverse teams
You are passionate about growth and innovation, have a customer-first demeanor and excellent change management and relationship building skills.
You are highly team spirited, a strategic thinker, have a flexible and can-do attitude. You have a track record of timely project delivery, leading and developing others and ability to run multiple projects.
Experience in leading onshore/offshore IT projects would be a definite asset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Ability to build positive relationships with partners and customers.
Skilled at conflict negotiation and aligning across teams.
Highly skilled at leading in a global matrix organization.
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification or BRM Certification ideal
