We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in optimizing our technology and systems to support the nurse journey.
Job Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the complex processes involved in the nurse journey and leveraging that knowledge to help build technology and systems that enhance the experience for our healthcare professionals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, and marketing, to gather requirements, perform journey mapping, and drive the development of solutions that improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Requirements Gathering:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to technology systems and processes.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather insights from key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement in existing systems and propose appropriate solutions.
2. Journey Mapping:
- Develop a deep understanding of the nurse journey from recruitment to onboarding and beyond, focusing on long lifecycles and lifetime value.
- Map out the various touchpoints and interactions between our healthcare professionals and our organization, identifying pain points and areas for improvement.
- Utilize data and analytics to track and measure the effectiveness of the nurse journey, identifying opportunities for optimization.
3. Systems and Technology Development:
- Collaborate with the technology team to translate business requirements into functional specifications for system enhancements or new technology implementations.
- Provide guidance and support in the design and development of technology solutions that streamline processes and improve the nurse journey.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure successful implementation of technology solutions.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze large datasets to derive insights and identify trends related to nurse performance, engagement, and satisfaction.
- Generate reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to key stakeholders, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommend improvements as needed.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and talent acquisition, to align strategies and ensure a seamless nurse journey.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to integrate third-party systems and tools, ensuring a cohesive technology ecosystem.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the healthcare staffing or retail industry.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of customer journey mapping, particularly for long lifecycles and lifetime value.
- Experience in technical requirements gathering, functional specifications development, and system implementation.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, SQL, or Power BI
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare staffing industry trends and regulations is preferred.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management principles is a plus.
- Experience in other high-touch B2C industries welcome
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to influence and present to Senior Management

Pay: £48,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
