In a nutshell:
As an Analyst within our IT Audit & Cybersecurity Team, you will help to provide clients with a reliable overview of their risk landscape and controls in place. You will work with clients to help create trust and confidence in their financial reporting and internal controls. Furthermore, you will provide advice related to the topic of cybersecurity and how management can best address relevant cyber risks.
We are now operating a hybrid working model, so you will split your time between working from home, working with the team in our Exeter office or visiting clients.
What you'll be doing day to day
- Responsibility for executing day to day IT assurance work; including contributing across the entire delivery lifecycle, from planning through to reporting.
- You’ll work alongside Financial Audit colleagues, supporting the audit in the evaluation of IT systems that underpin an organisation’s key financial processes, and ensuring continuous improvement of audit quality.
- Contributing to Cyber security assessments, alongside our current IT Cyber Security Technicians - this will be against both the Cyber Essentials and Cyber Assurance Standards.
- Working effectively as a team member – providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members and management on progress.
- Ensure client deliverables are on time and up to the expected standards.
About you
- A degree or equivalent academic qualification.
- Willingness to learn and continuously expand knowledge in the area IT audit, information security and cybersecurity in general.
- Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.
- Agile mindset and comfortable adapting with changing technologies and environments.
- The ability to build client relationships with a foundation of trust and responsibility.
- Strong collaborator within the context of your team and across the firm.
- Analytical skills allowing you to think critically, research and solve problems.
