Do you work in IT? Are you looking for your next challenge? Freshcut Foods are currently looking to recruit a new IT Assistant to deal with 1st line support issues throughout our factory.
Freshcut Foods is the UK’s leading manufacturer of added value plant based ingredients. Our customers are major household names across the food service, retail, and delivery box sectors. Operating out of our three well invested sites in Nottingham, we continue our rapid expansion while remaining dynamic and leading the way in vegetable innovation.
We are looking for applicants who are hardworking, who take pride in their work, and have an eye for detail. You must also maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast paced environment. Good communication skills are also essential as you will be working as part of a team in this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support our business with first line support for both software and hardware
· Upkeep of the network and phone lines
· Ensure that the department is kept clean and well organised at all times.
· Effectively and professionally, communicate with stakeholders, employees and other teams.
· Ensure that Health and Safety regulations are followed
· Supporting the business with hardware and software on a shop floor level as and when required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
· Self-motivated and enthusiastic
· Good communication skills/written & verbal
· Ability to provide timely and accurate record of works using IT support system
· Ability to organise and prioritise work
· Good technical problem solving skills
· Ability to work effectively and efficiently alone or as part of a team
· Minimum 1 years’ experience within the IT Industry
· BSc (Honours) in a Computing or IT related subject
· Experience with basic networking
· Experience with Active Directory
· Experience with Microsoft Exchange
· Good knowledge of Excel (Formulae, Macros, etc.)
