Job Title: ICT Apprentice (Field Engineer)

We are looking for a positive-minded individual who can deal with technical issues in a pressed and time-sensitive environment while maintaining a high quality of customer service. This role with be 50% in office and 50% travelling to different sites.

Your technical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

1. Visiting client sites on a regular basis, acting as the first point of contact and provide first line support.

2. Liaising with customers and providing information to aid them in their day to day IT related activities.

3. Liaising with 3rd party suppliers to address customer tickets.

4. Escalating more complex tickets to the relevant senior technicians and learning from the senior team.

5. Logging and addressing any software or hardware problems detected while on site.

6. *Due to the 24/7 support environment rota-based weekend shifts will be required (once training is complete).

Essential Skills and personal qualities:

1. Experience in a technical support role

2. Strong knowledge in Microsoft 365

3. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and 11

4. Understanding of Windows Server – 2016 and 2019

5. Understanding of Networking Fundamentals

Schedule:

1. Monday to Friday (9am – 6pm)

Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
