Pathology IT at University Hospital Southampton is bringing in new technologies and we need people to join us during this exciting time. You’ll be involved in new deployments and systems so quick learning of these to be able to support users will be key.
We're looking for an IT Application Support Technician to help with these changes, preferably with experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems, who will help UHS Pathology during these changes.
This role is part of a growing team who support the 500+ staff across the laboratory, providing a vital service to the hospital and local community.

Your Responsibilities
What you’ll do
- Support users in Molecular Pathology with laboratory IT systems
- Responsible for the production of reports of laboratory activity for NHS E/I
- Assist with developments for our incoming LIMS
- You should be detail orientated as you’ll be handling patient data
- You should be able to support colleagues at differing IT skill levels with their needs
- You should be able to work both independently in your department and in a large IT team across the laboratory
