The University of Chester are seeking to appoint a highly motivated IT Analyst to the Business Improvement Services (BIS) Team. This post is key to ensuring that BIS can continue to meet the demands of a growing University, by supporting and improving the user experience for a variety of stakeholders including applicants, students, alumni and staff.
You will join a multi-skilled team, with responsibility for managing incidents, maintaining systems and assisting with project implementation with an emphasis on business improvement. The focus of this role will be to manage, maintain and improve information systems whilst providing a professional level of technical support and advice.
You will be qualified to a minimum of Level 5 (e.g HND, DipHE, NVQ level 5, Foundation Degree) or be willing to work towards achievement within an agreed timeframe. You should have experience working in an IT role. Experience supporting and maintaining business systems is essential to this position.
You will be a well organised problem solver with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work both independently and as member of a team is critical to this role.
