Job Title: IT Administrator
PQE: 2 years
Salary: £23,000
Hours: 8:30am to 5pm
Location: Burnley, Lancashire (Head Office)

As a Group we have been dealing with Property Management (both UK commercial and residential properties as well as Dubai Properties) and IT Services (Internet Services and Phone Services) for over 30 years. Our Company which we are recruiting for, which is part of a group of Companies (Find UK Property, Rent UK Property & Sell UK Property), have been operating for just over 10 years now.
What We Do
We offer a fully client based serviced approach to investing in properties. We acquire properties from the open market, renovate them to a set standard and specification, pass them onto our lettings department for maintenance and management and we resell to investors
We have our Property Surveying Department, Renovations Department, Lettings & Maintenance Department, Legal Department, and relevant Sales & Marketing Departments etc. We do everything in-company. We are expanding and are looking for new recruits – we have recently moved to a brand new fully refurbished larger office because of this expansion.
Due to our success, we have recently been featured on the popular BBC TV Show Homes Under the Hammer numerous times The BBC really liked our model and featured Our Company in TWO further episodes!

The Role:
- Accurate completion of paperwork
- Transfer of data between systems
- Data cleanse and data entry
- Pay good attention to detail
- Must be competent at using Microsoft packages
- Confident with Windows environment
- A good understanding of digital media
- Organise the setup of new starters (and Leavers) with their laptops/desk phones/ mobile phones.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Setup basic networking e.g., Ethernet switches around the office, and understand how they work.
- Move people around with their hardware.
- Ensure all essential software is set up for staff.
- Train staff on how to use basic software (QuickBooks, SharePoint, Outlook 365, MS Teams)
- Send regular comms to Staff regarding best IT/software practices
- Manage mailing distribution lists (starters/leavers)
- Manage stock inventory lists for IT equipment.
- Liaise with external IT company and Directors to complete actions
- Keep our IT processes (documentation) and IT registers up to date
- Work with IT team to help departments migrate to new Software. This will also include assisting with data entry jobs during application migration phases.
- IT Project work e.g., working with Management to help roll out new software
- Providing Support to Users in any new application installation and use.
- Train and advise Users regarding basic cyber security e.g., email security.
- Able to use Ticketing system like Freshdesk to define priority on the workload.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors to assist in the resolution of Incidents, Requests and Problems
